Spooky Egg Box Bat Decoration

Transform your home into a spooktacular haven with these adorable DIY recycled egg box bats! This quick and easy Halloween craft idea is the perfect decoration for a spooky makeover!

You’ll need;

• Empty egg box
• Paint
• Googly eyes
• Ribbon or string
• Scissors
• PVA glue

Method

Step 1. With parent supervision, cut a strip of 3 joined cups from the egg box. Make them ever spookier bu cutting curved edges on the outer 2 cups to make wings.
Step 2. Get creative and paint the egg box with your favourite Halloween colour!
Step 3. Once the egg box has dried, glue your googly eyes to the middle cup to bring your creature to life.
Step 4. Make 2 cuts in the top of the middle cup, so they can thread some ribbon or string.
Step 5. Hang your spooky creation by the window or outside your front door and enjoy your spooky masterpiece!

Spooktacular Spider Web Creation

Here’s a fun and easy Halloween craft for kids that encourages fine motor skills practice and turns out really cute- spider webs made with ice lolly sticks and string! These are super easy to make and make the perfect Halloween decorations for your home or classroom.

You’ll need;

• Ice lolly stick
• Wool or string in colours of your choice.
• PVA glue
• Paint
• Scissors

Optional: Spider stickers

Method

Step 1. With parental supervision, glue three ice lolly sticks together to make your spiderweb.
Step 2. Paint your ice lolly sticks a colour of your choice.
Step 3. Once the paint has dried, cut off a long piece of wool or string and tie one end to a ice lolly stick.
Step 4. Wrap your wool or string around each ice lolly stick until you have made your spider web.
Step 5. Tie the end to an ice lolly stick and make sure to leave  a tail of wool to hang your spider web.
Step 6. Hang them up and enjoy your spook-tacular decoration!
