Spooky season is fast approaching and that means that it’s nearly pumpkin carving season! With over 20 different varieties and brand NEW pumpkins and squashes coming for 2023, Pumpkin Village will be bigger, better, and more Instagramable than ever before.
With our HUGE range of pumpkins, we’re expecting to see some incredible and unique pumpkin carving photos this year. But, why settle for the same old, pumpkin face that you’ve carved for years? This year, it’s all about getting creative and standing out from the crowd so we have put together some of our favourite pumpkin carvings!
These super spooky pumpkins and gourds are super easy to create and make the perfect display for your house! After cleaning the pumpkin and making sure any dirt is removed, get your favourite Halloween cookie cutters and place them into the pumpkin.
With help from a parent, push these into the pumpkin 3/4 of the way, leaving space to take the cookie cutter back out. Next, pull the cookie cutter out and repeat on a different pumpkin or gourd, leaving you with the same pattern on a different pumpkin. Mix and match the punched cutouts to create a colourful pumpkin pattern!
Want to have the most unique pumpkin on your street? Make these super spooky and unique glow-in-the-dark pumpkins that will light up your street! To start, clean your pumpkin so that any dirt is removed.
Find your favourite colours of glow-in-the-dark paint (we recommend Halloween colours) and paint your Halloween patterns or faces onto the pumpkin. Leave to dry and then place outside to make your house the best dressed on the street!

Using tall and unique-shaped squashes, these cool and creepy candlestick designs and the perfect spooky decoration for your Halloween display! To start, clean your squashes so that any dirt is removed and turn the squash upside down.
Cut a round opening from the bottom of the pumpkin using a carving knife before scooping out the insides. Next, turn your squash around and carve out your desired shape or face. Then, add your tealight underneath your creation to create that spooky, ghastly glow!
These stacked pumpkins make the perfect display that the whole street with love! To start, cut a large hole in the top of one large pumpkin and carve out the insides – remember to keep the top as you may want to use this for decoration!
Next, cut a hole in the bottom of one medium pumpkin and empty. Next, draw your designs onto the pumpkins, making them all different. Cut them out, and then stack the medium pumpkin on top of the large one, using skewers to help hold them in place. Add a tealight candle in the bottom of the large candle and add any accessories you wish to make your pumpkins look even spookier!

These fang-tastic pumpkin designs make the perfect bowl to hold sweets for trick or treaters! Once your pumpkin has been cleaned, cut a circle around the top and scoop out all the insides of the pumpkin – remember to keep the lid as we’ll need this later on!
Once all of the pumpkin has been cleaned out, fill the inside with all your favourite sweets and get ready to greet your trick or treaters with this super fun pumpkin!
